Dryad Theatre was founded in 2021. We make formally ambitious works for the theatre, staging bold and original new writing and inventive revivals of great plays.

Our most recent production, Knocking On The Wall by Ena Lamont Stewart, debuted at The Finborough Theatre in November 2023. Its sell-out run was nominated for a London Pub Theatres Standing Ovation Award, given four stars by The Observer and The Stage amongst others, and described as, "A fantastically compelling set-piece... charged with class tensions and Pinteresque power play" (The Guardian); and an "Absorbing and intimate revival of three Lamont Stewart shorts... It's a treat to see them on stage" (The Stage).

Dryad Theatre is run by Artistic Director Finlay Glen and Producer Georgie Polhill.
